and this is seriously 1 of the best new year resolution, it seems easy but if you want to put it into practise, it might be hard.

anyway, whats his new year resolution?
here's his description about his new year resolution
it is known as 365 days love

"So I’ve decided what my 2010 New Years resolution will be. This may sound crazy, but I’m going to do my best with this. Basically, I’ve realized after being a pastor for so many years that it’s easy to talk about love, it’s another thing to live a life of love. Many people may know me for my preaching, or music, or creative endeavors, but that means nothing unless I live out what I talk about. So I don’t want to only let others hear me talk about it, but I really want to be about it. I want to practice what I preach by doing the following new years resolution and challenge to myself… honestly, I’m a little scared but here it goes…

365 DAYS OF LOVE….

Starting January 1st 2010 I want to live out 365 days of love by putting my love into action. How will I do this? I will attempt to do one act of kindness to someone each day of the year. That is, 365 acts of love for 365 days of the next year. Each day I will post a blog about the random act of kindness that I did. It can be anything from helping someone out, to listening to someone’s problems, to telling someone how amazing they are, or to do some crazy act of love for a stranger. I don’t know, I will have to trust that each day will bring before me an opportunity to love. So for Monday-Saturday 6 days a week I will write a text blog. But 1 day a week on Sunday I will post a video blog of an act of love I did that day or week. So there you have it….

The challenge ~ 365 ACTS OF KINDNESS FOR 365 DAYS OF THE YEAR

The purpose ~ To not just talk about love, but be about love

The goal ~ To live a life of love that will hopefully inspire others to love the same

Lets see what this New Years resolution brings. I will need all of your prayers and support! Honestly, I don’t know if I can do it, I may fail certain days, but its the heart that counts and I’ll do my best to love others the same way I would desire to be loved…. lets keep spreading the love friends…. because to live is to love.

after reading the lyrics thoroughly,now i can totally understand why he likes this song so much when he first listened to this song and untill now, his love towards this song has never changed ^^

ps: so the rest that i initially planned to have has lasted for more than 2 hours and it is still an ongoing process? so what am i doing right now?practically nth..just eating chips (yes my crave for chips has been with me for quite awhile and it seems that the craving will not end very soon), some mind wandering activities and of course blogging XD
and christmas break is almost over *sigh*
but the most significant thing that i've done so far is...putting on weight
yes you hear me right, I M SERIOUSLY in the process of getting myself to be looked a lil bit chubbier(a word which makes me feel better instead of using the word FATTER)!!!
and
IF the caloric restriction plan really helps in slowing the aging process
then, i m putting myself in a dangerous situation
cause i m actually accelerating my aging process!!! >.<>

John 8:1-11

wuli turtle has just updated his cyword and he got a passage from the book of John 8:1-11

1. But Jesus went to the Mount of Olives.
2. At dawn, he appeared again in the temple courts, where all the people gathered around him , and he sat down to teach them.
3. The teachers of the law and the Pharisees brought in a woman caught in adultery. They made her stand before the group
4. and said to Jesus, " Teacher, this woman is caught in the act of adultery.
5. In the Law of Moses commanded us to stone such women. Now what do you say?"
6. They were using this question as a trap, in order to have a basis for accusing him. But Jesus bent down and started to write on the ground with his finger.
7. When they kept on questioning him, he straightened up and said to them, ' If any one of you is without sin, let him be the first to throw a stone at her."
8. Again he stooped down and wrote on the ground.
9. At this, thouse who heard began to go away one at a time, the older ones first, untill only Jesus leaft, with the woman still standing there.
10. Jesus straightened up and asked her, " woman, where are they? Has no one condemned you?"
11. " No one, sir," she said.
" Then neither do i condemn you," Jesus declared. "Go now and leave your life of sin."


and here's the verse that he highlighted

7: if any one of you is without sin, let him be the first to throw a stone at her

but if i were to highlight this chapter, the verse that i would like to hightlight would be

11: Go now and leave your life of sin

isnt it amazing, same scripture but it touches each and 1 of us in a different way according to the situation, time, place, setting etc that we are in?

verse 7 has let him understood something that only he himself will know whats the meaning behind this verse which has really answered the current situation he is in or the problem he is facing right now and how has it helped him in understanding God's words.

but then, when i re-read this chapter, especially this morning,
i find that verse 11 touches me the most
why?

Go now and leave your life of sin. This is what Jesus said to the woman who has commited adultery and whom should be stoned to death according to the Law of Moses.

Her sin is forgiven when Jesus said that to her. BUT i just realised there is another meaning in this verse!!
LEAVE YOUR LIFE OF SIN.
did you get it??

well at least for me, i've never realised how important these words are not untill today when i read it again(kind of having blind spot when i read this chap some times ago). I dont know how to put my understanding of this verse in words but i hope you did grasp the meaning of this verse or even this whole chapter according to your own understanding and i am sure, Holy spirit ll touch your heart in a way that suits you through this chapter according to you need. God knows best what you need to understand Him when you read this chapter! =)

a weird week

hmmm seriously, this week is really okay as in it is normal, nth bad or uneasy things have happened

BUT then dont know why, i feel uneasy for an unknown reason

okay i just cant resist the temptation to intro this song XD
hmm before i read the translation of this song, i thought this is a happy song since the tempo is light and the melody is heart enlightening (well at least for me)
thats why i googled the translation for the lyrics
and GUESS what!!!!!!!
again!!! is a sad song, well maybe not that sad but still..DUH
i think the composer was trying to smoothen out the whole situation by having such a light tempo(?) (sorry for my poor muscial knowlege though i learned music b4 but it was years ago and you know the part that i hate the most is the theory part so let alone that i ll remember the musical term like appergio etc XD)

sorry it seems that this singer sung si kyung he doesnt really shoot mv for his songs cos i rarely find 1 of his songs with mv. nontheless he is 1 of the best singers in korea and i think thats why he doesnt even need to promote his songs by having mv (? ) but who cares XD

ps: struggling for my pathophys it seems that the stuffs that i have read cant really stay in my mind "obediently" they tend to play hide and seek with me
